One More Transformer Card

As always when making cards for family members, I always have to make more than one.   Here is the card I made for my parents to give to my nephew.    Again most of the products are not SU, but I create to share so if there is anyone looking for card for the Transformer fan in their life, here is one.    The only SU products in this card are the Whisper White and Basic Black card stock.

Stamping Royalty Sketch Challenge

This week Stamping Royalty brings us a sketch challenge.   The sketch is changed up a little bit, but I have to say I am happy with my Easter card.

I had a egg sticker from a local craft store that I used as a pattern to cut the perfect egg shape.

Inspired by Bruce

Here is a birthday card I made for my guy.   I was inspired by these great poster images I found on esty.   I decided to play with my fonts and Word and here was my version.   Not as fun, but it works.
Most of the products are not SU, but the ones that are the Sahara Sand and Basic Black card stock, Extreme Guitar stamp set and the distress kit.

Inkredible Color Challenge


This week's Inkredible colors are:  More Mustard, Old Olive, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler.   I got this great coffee and tea set and I couldn't wait to use it!
I have to say I had my doubts with this color combo.   It was a challenge, but I am happy with the results.

Stamping Royalty Photo Inspiration

I have to say I really love this week's Stamping Royalty photo inspiration.   What's not to love with black & white  polka dots with a touch of hot pink! 
I decided to try my hand make my own flowers for this photo inspiration.   I had seen recently party streamers being used in paper crafts.   So I decided to take the steamers adhere them to a piece of white card stock to make a great texture for my floral.   Then I pulled out my Blossom Petals Xl Punch.   I layered the flowers on a circle used a bone folder and some dimensionals and there is my floral.

Paris Themed Invitations

I got a special custom order to make Paris themed party invitations.    So since I didn't have any Eiffel tower stamp sets, I decided to google and find some clipart to add to my invite.    So the center of the invite was printed and then cut out with my Coluzzle cutting system.

Perfect Together

On one of the craft forums I am on the challenge was to make a Valentine's day card with no hearts or the word love.   I decided to take the challenge and here is my card.   I have a Sizzex I purchased at local craft store that made puzzle pieces.  I had to play with it make it work for me.   The sentiment was printed on card stock.

World Card Making Day Contest Winner 2012!!

So I knew I was going to love this week's Inkredible color challenge as soon as I saw the colors.   The colors are:   Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.   I saw this sketch on Pinterest and knew I was going to be able finally break in the Hearts a Flutter framelits and stamp set.   With Valentine's around the corner, better late than never.

Inkredible Color Challenge

We end the week with an Inkredible color challenge.  The colors this week are:  Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette and Garden Green.    I knew that I wanted to make a flower with the colors, but that was it.   So what better to put it on a coffee cup.   The cup was made free form. I made the pattern a long time ago for other projects.   Now when I need a cup all I do is trace.  I used part of my Starbucks sleeve to make a sleeve for my card.

My Card Was Published in Create: Stamping Idea Book 2013

I am so excited I was in Barnes & Noble earlier today checking out the latest craft magazines on the market and lo and behold, my card is on page 122 of Northridge Publishing Create: Stamping Idea Book 2013.

It is my first time being published by Northridge and I am honored to be chosen among so many amazing designers.     My card was featured in the Fabric and Ribbon section.       Can you believe I got crafty with fabric!    I die cut the flower with some old denim fabric.

Pinks and Hearts

So what better for a Valentine's day card than lots of shades of pink and lots and lots of hearts!   The circular shape was made with Circle Cutting System.  I folded the card stock first and then made a cut with my circle system.

So we only have 10 more days until Valentine's Day, are you ready?   Valentine's is the perfect time to create cards.   It takes me back to days of childhood where the homemade valentine's to mom and dad are still the most cherished cards of all.
