Love Pinterest
I have to say I love Pinterest. It may seem like you are spending hours looking around pinning items to boards, but when it comes to time to make a card and you are out of ideas on what to do, it saves hours in the creative process. I pinned this card to my board a while ago and it completely inspired me when I needed a card for my niece's christening. So simple so cute and easy.
Ingredients to make the card:
Stamp Set: Special Blessings
Ink: Perfect Plum
Paper: Perfect Plum Patterns Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Pearls and Floral from a local craft store

The second flower is a prettie glued onto a piece of paper and then I punched it with the Boho Blossom punch.

Thanksgiving Decorating and Place Setting
Only a few more days until Thanksgiving!!! I decided to try my hand on creating some Thanksgiving decoration and place settings this year. I got some amazing border and leaf punches and couldn't wait to get started on some projects for the holiday. It started with two paper pumpkins and then the project took on a life of it's own.
Here are a some tips to make the pumpkins and the home decor stand. The pumpkins were made with 12 circles cut out. The bottom of the circles were cut to make a bottom. The circles were then folded and glued together. The pumpkin stem, I used a Starbucks sleeve. I cut a small piece off of the sleeve vertically and then rolled and glued it.
The base of the home decor stand is cork board. I used two pieces of cork. The cork was cut with an X-acto knife and a ruler. The bottom piece I made a slit in the cork board so that the top piece could interlock with the bottom.
Most of the products are not SU on the project, but the ones that were are: Tenny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, Early Espresso Ink, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, More Mustard and Crumb Cake Card Stock, Autumn Meadows and Old Olive Patterns Designer Series Paper, Chocolate Chip Button, Silver Brads, Large Oval Punch, 2 1/2 Circle Punch, Coluzzle Cutting System, Simply Scored, Labels Collection Framelit Dies, Apothecary Accents Framelits and Big Shot.

Breast Cancer Awareness
Last month was breast cancer awareness. The month ran away from me and I never got a chance to post a card I made for the cause. Most of the products are not SU, but I really wanted to do something different when making the card and but a little shabby chic elements into it.
The only products that are SU are the cardstock, the Love and Strength stamp set, Pretty in Pink Ink, Dazzling Details, Scallop Trim border punch and the Petite Pennants Punch.
