Welcome Isabella

I happy to announce a new addition to my family.   My little niece was born on Friday morning, little Isabella Sophia.    Such a little cutie.   Just a perfect little angel.  The larger butterfly I free form cut using the smaller butterfly as a pattern for cutting.   The banner was made by cutting paper into small squares and making triangles.

Color Throwdown #197

Here is this week's color throwdown.   This week's colors are:   Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze and Kiwi Kiss.    I have to say I was drawn to the colors.   

I have to say I am loving this beautiful Pleasant Poppies stamp set.   So simple and elegant.    I can't believe it, but I acutally sold my Kiwi Kiss colors so the only thing I had left was the retired Walk in the Park designer series paper.   I actually used the Lucky Limeade paper and I have to say it was pretty close to the retired Kiwi Kiss.

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

With the warm NJ weather I actually had some time to get some stamping done. My studio is in the basement, so it is by far the coolest room in the house. So here is the Stamping 411 sketch chellenge. I pulled out the Flowering Flourishes stamp set for the sketch.

I changed up the sketch a little for my wedding card I needed.    

I have to say the Flowering Flourishes just might be a favorite of mine from the new catalog.

Stamping Royalty Color Challenge

So here is this week's Stamping Royalty challenge.   This week brings us a color challenge.    The colors are:   Island Indigo, More Mustard, Pool Party and Old Olive.   At first glance I thought I would have to do a fall themed card since that is what the colors were inspiring me to do.    After poking around on Pinterest, I found my inspiration there for this week's card.

Blue Ribbon for a Simple Floral Tag

I was so excited to get have a reason to break open and play with my new Blue Ribbon stamp set.   Here are flowers that were given to my niece for her receital.   With a quick stamp and die cut.   It made a cute and quick tag to put on the flowers!

Birthday Card for the Starbucks Fan

So you know it's never easy to come up with a card for the guys in your life.   I decided to make a Starbucks coffee card card.    This card can easily be transformed to be a father's day card, just change the greeting!    What is great is that is I recycled the cup holders!   My favorite is the new Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper.   Just love the Crumb Cake designer series paper

How cute is my little niece.   Here is a scrapbook page I made that I put in a shadowbox to celebrate her first dance recital.   Most of the products are not SU, but I just couldn't wait to share this page with you.    The only SU products on the page are the Whisper White paper, Rhinestones, Pink Piroutte Ribbon and the Cherry Cobler button.
