Little Girl Baby Card

I was completely and totally inspired by a little girl baby card I saw on Pinterest.   I love this little dress idea.   I took this template and then tweaked it make my card.  

Most of the products are not SU, I think the only thing was the white cardstock, but I just couldn't resist the share.

I am totally making this card again in the future!

So I have to say there are a few on the retirement list that I am very sorry to see retire.   Flower Fest has been one of my favorite sets.    The best part of the set is that fact I have been able to use the set to use up my paper scraps.   Let's just say my paper scraps piles are ridiculous and this was one of my go to stamp sets to but a little dent in getting rid of scraps.

So if you have purchased the set, I have to tell you it is a must have.

New Catalog, Retirement and More Sets for Sale

There is a change to this year's Stampin' Up! catalog.     We are actually going to be able to have the catalog shipped directly to your home.  Orders will be going out May 14th from the Stampin' Up! offices.   So drop me a line and let me know if you want the catalog delivered to your home.     Please mail me a check for 5$ or I can send you a PayPal invoice if that is easier.      

Next, I just cleaned up my stamps and found some older sets that I am willing to part with.    I will be adding more on June 1st once the new catalog is out, click here to see what is on sale now.

Yesterday some stamp pads and colors were on the retirement list, well there is some changes happening this year to our color line.   First, the textured paper and the craft ink refills are being discontinued.    So if you are a fan make sure you pick it up before it is gone.

Next, the 12x12 paper and Stampin' Write Markers for the following colors are being discontinued:   tangerine tango, regal rose, melon mambo, pacific point, tempting turquoise, rose red, pink pirouette, so saffron, wild wasabi, baja breeze, bashful blue, perfect plum, more mustard, cajun craze, bravo burgundy, riding hood red, elegant eggplant, not quite navy, always artichoke, garden green, sahara sand, river rock, soft suede, chocolate chip and basic gray

Lastly, the stamp pads are going through a big change.    Introducing firm foam pads.    They are going to provide better ink coverage for your stamps.   Light-tap stamping produces flawless images. Pads stays juicier for longer resulting in better ink pad longevity.   

Also two more updates to the Retiring Accessories list from yesterday.   The craft scissors and paper snips are not being retired.    Also after going though the list, just wanted to make you aware that ALL of the 5/8" Satin Ribbon, 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon is retiring.    So make sure you stock up.   I am sorry that the satin and the striped grosgrain ribbons are retiring, they are my favorites!!!

Baby Shower Tags

So I am in the home stretch of projects fro my sister's baby shower.   here are the gift tags I made to put on super cute butterfly keychains.  As you can see the baby's room theme is butterflies.    We ended up getting so many keychains for because of the price discount, I decided to make a few extra tags so she can hand them out if she gets any gifts from co-workers and neighbors.

Here is the card I made for my sister's baby shower.   I just love the little sticker that said Heaven Sent.   It is perfectly paired up with the saying from the Buggies and Booties stamp set.    Babies are bits of stardust blown from the hand of  God.

Memory Paint Can

2012 The Retired Stamp List of Retiring Stamp Sets

It's April 15th, so here is your 2011 list of retiring stamp sets, accessories and definitely decorative. For those of you new to Stampin' Up! every year, Stampin' Up! retires stamp sets, etc. to make room for new items that will be released June 1st when the new idea book and catalog will be released. This year is no exception there is tons of stuff being retired, which means amazing new products on their way. I have seen a few of the new items and they are just AMAZING!!!!

Our little sweetheart's first pictures

I wasn't sure when my sister first said she wanted a scrapbook of her sonogram photos how it would turn out.   After I saw the first set of pictures I just knew it would be making a long scrapbook.  Most of the photos appear to be 4 wallet size photos on a strip of photo paper.   

So I took the retired long on board chipboard and 12 x 12 sheets of paper to cover the back and front along with 12x12 sheets for the inside.

The title was printed out.
