Have you been on Pinterest!

If you haven't been out there, I am completely suggest taking a minute to check it out.    It is inspiration overload.    So many amazing ideas.    As someone described, it is like getting a new magazine every time you visit.      It is totally like a magazine.    You can look at what others have pinned and then if you like it you can pin on your board to reference it another day.   It's kind of like ripping pages out of magazine, but so much better.      If you are out on Pinterest already, please feel free to "follow" me and then I would love to "follow" you in return and see what amazing things you find.   Also you can put a button on your Internet Explorer toolbar where you can pin things you find on web pages all over the Internet.

I have one board dedicated to scrapbook pages I love, paper crafting ideas, punch art, sketches and even one on tips for crafting.       And that is just the crafting, I also have seen great food ideas, decorating, etc.

Click here to see my Pinterest!    I completely suggest Tips for Crafting Board, lots of great ideas for punches.

Party Ensemble

Paper Crafts is hosting a fabulous challenge with an amazing prize package.   It is to promote their new Party Ensemble special edition publication.    Well seeing the prize package was enough motivation for me to create for my sister's baby shower.    I am so excited I am going to be an aunt to a little girl!!   The theme for her room is a butterflies!   So here my party ensemble, a diaper cake, inviation, favor box and banner!

Click here to see the diaper cake tutorial.   It is actually super easy to make.   Looks harder than it actually is!      The flowers for the diaper cake were a long stem floral that I cut the florals off and tucked in the cake. The butterflies were punched and attached to the cake with stick pins with pearl tops.

The favor box was made with Box #2  and Two Tags Sizzex.    The banner is just a large circle cut out and folded in half.   1 3/4" circles were punched and attached to make the scallop edge.   Many of the products were purchased at a local craft store as well as the butterfly punches and baby stamp set.
