Thank You! Thank You! Thank You Nancy!

Two days in a row, I am so happy.   I went to check Nancy's site this morning to find that my scrapbook page made her top picks!    Thank you Nancy!

Well I am happy to say I was able to finally scrapbook at least one photo from my sister's wedding.   The biggest problem in scrapbooking the event is there is over 5000 photos!!!  So let's just say when I finally get to it, I will have gone through many, many photos.

More Beach Scrapbooking

What can I say I love scrapbooking my beach photos.   I made this scrapbook page for this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge.    The challenge is using Brads!!    I used my Whisper White brads in the center of the Felt Fusion flowers.

My favorite part of the page is the large flower from the Build a Blossom stamp set.   The large flower is just beautiful embellishment on a page.

Operation Write Home Blog Hop

Welcome Little Onesie

Here is an new twist on on old favorite.   I remember making these little onesie for my niece's baby shower.   I still have pretty in pink scraps from making her shower invites and baby scrapbook pages!   Click here to see the onesie!

Good friends of mine adopted a little boy and I couldn't wait to make a cute little card to send off to them.    I just love the little turtle guy from the Summer Splash stamp set.

To make the cute little circle borders, I cut a larger circle with my circle cutting system and then attached it to the card and punched out the cutouts with the 1 3/4" circle punch.

Marvelous Sixty

Yesterday, we celebrated my mom's 60th birthday!   Yes, I have a very young mommy.  She is the best friend and mommy anyone can ask for.    I was all set to pull out my Simple Numbers Sizzex and make a card with 60 as the main theme, bu that would not be her. 

I decided on a more vintage and more floral card for her.    She loves her flowers and her plants.

Stamping Royalty Recipe Challenge

This week Stamping Royalty brings you a Recipe Challenge.    The recipe this week is  LET'S FLY AWAY! - To comemorate Spring we're featuring Birds this week.

So I pulled out the bird cage from the Occasions Mini stamp set, Nature Walk and then small little bird from the Bliss Salabration stamp set.     I have to say I love the striking colors I put in this card, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler.

All Star Candy Boxes

How cute are these gift boxes.    I found these great chocolate wrapped up in soccer balls, baseballs, footballs and basketballs.

How great are these fun gifts for Father's Day and for end of year thank you gifts for coaches.

The box was super easy to make.   I took a 10" x 4.75" piece of paper.    I scored at 3.25", 4.75", 8" and 9.5".   Then I flipped the paper to it's side and scored at 3.25".

Baby 1st Birthday

So I think I am finally caught up on my Inkredible color challenges.    This week's color challenge is Tempting Turquoise, Pink Pirouette and Soft Suede.     So I decided to make a scrapbook page layout for my cousin's little boy.   He is turning one and I thought this would be great to put in a shadow box to give on his special occasion.

Tangerine Tango Mother's Day

I am so loving Tangerine Tango.    I recently purchased the Bold Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack.    It comes with 40 sheets of paper 2 each of each Bold Brights colors.   With 2 double stided designs. 

The best part of the paper pack is working with colors that until now I haven't really played with.    So here is a Tangerine Tango Mother's Day card.     How pretty is this color!!

Stamping Royalty Color Challenge

This week's Stamping Royalty challenge is a color challenge.    The colors are:  Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Rich Razzleberry and Pacific Point.  I am just loving the surfboards in the Summer Splash stamp set.    So worth the wait makes me think of summer and when it finally it is here it will so be worth all the snow and rain we have been dealing with!

How beautiful is this Strength & Hope stamp set.    I love the simple elegance card.    I had to make a few sympathy cards and the card and the images worked beautifully.     The special touch was putting a rhinestone in the center of button.   It was just the extra touch the card needed.    It was also the perfect card for this week's Inkspirations sketch challenge.

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #137

I love Taylored Expression Sketches.   The scallops in this sketch just reminded me of waves in the ocean and how perfect that they coordinating with our new Summer Splash stamp set.     I pulled out some retired paper and stamp sets to complete the card.
