Spectacular Day

Last December, I got to spend a couple days with my nephew while his parents went to Boston. I have to say I really enjoyed my time with him. He is a super amazing little boy. We did spend most of that time either shopping for action figures, watching and singing SPECTACULAR Spiderman. If you ever watched the Spectacular Spiderman cartoon series, you will know the song. It has a way of staying in your head long after you heard it.

The highlight of the day was we were in the mall and they had a Batman ride, well he was so thrilled and happy to be able to go on it.

I got to show him the page and I have to say it was a hit even with him. He loved having a scrapbook page with his favorite hero.

Cute Little Valentine's Day Flowers

So here is are some cute little Valentine's Day treats I made for my niece and nephew filled with their favorite holiday treats. Tootie Roll lollipops and M&M what is better than that.

To make the flowers, I punched and I cut into the center of the flowers. To make a hole in the center of the flowers, I used my old fashion hammer and eyelet setter. For the large scallop circle it was hard to get the crop-a-dile in the center. Plus, another advantage of using the eyelet setter, I was able to do a few flowers at once.

I tied some grosgrain ribbon in a bow under the flower. I used my crop-a-dile to make holes in the center of the mason jars.

Ingredients to make the flower project:
Paper: Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Pretty in Pink Striped Ribbon, Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon
Tools: Eyelet Setter, Hammer, Crop-a-dile, 5 petal flower punch, Fancy Flower punch, Large Scallop Circle Punch
