This week's Papercraft Star photo inspiration is a photo from Martha Stewart Living. It is a beautiful fall photo. I wanted to touch upon the soft colors from this photo with my projects. I did a emboss resist technique to do this project. Click here to see a great tutorial on how to do emboss resist. My special tips for doing emboss resist is to use glossy card stock. I also used a few colors to do the technique. Always start with the light color when sponging.
Can you believe Halloween is around the corner! The Inkredible colors are perfect for the holiday. They are: Perfect Plum, Old Olive, Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie. This week's Pals Paper Arts challenge is Bling, so I put rhinestones in my trim border. Here is the holiday gift bags I created for my niece and nephew to put their holiday goodies in.

Here's back to back Inkredible color challenges. This week's colors are: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and So Saffron. I decided to play with my designer series paper scraps to make this card. I love the way patchwork butterfly I ended up making. I don't know if I am more excited about using paper scraps or the fact that I used the Heard from the Heart stamp set. I really can't tell you the last time I used this stamp set. I have to say I love the set, but I haven't had many opportunities to use it. I love the crisp and clean simplicity of this set. I think this just became my go to thank you card when I need to make one quickly to send out.
So I am a little behind in last week's color challenge. The colors are Creamy Caramel, Cameo Coral and Old Olive. Well 2 of the colors are now retired so I substituted Creamy Caramel with Crumb Cake and Cameo Coral with Pretty in Pink. They are not exactly a close match, but close enough.
I just found out that I was a top pick at the Pals Paper Arts challenge this week. I am so excited. I have to say I love the way the card came out especially since I used the Bright Blessings wheel! I just rolled the wheel twice and then cut out the images to make the card.
Continuing with the Vintage and the Welcome Christmas set, I made another holiday card with this week's Mojo Monday sketch.

Here is this week's card that I made with the I heart to stamp sketch. I have to say I love the Welcome Christmas stamp set. It is such a beautiful set that works so well with the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper.

This week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge is a Fall Inspiration. So here is my creation. Can you believe I made I made it with a Stampin' Around wheel. I rolled the wheel and then cut out the images from the wheel for my card. 
Here's another Christmas Card made with this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I have to say I love the vintage and the ruffled ribbon trim which is so easy to make. All you need to do is lay down a strip of Sticky Strip and then just put the ribbon down as it gathers.

I have a holiday tip for everyone. Every week there are great sketch challenges from a variety of blogs. If you just do the sketches each week, you will be done with your holiday cards in no time this year. I believe I am up to 26 Holiday cards finished and it is only October!

Here is a treat holder that I made to hold a pack of gum. Take a 3 1/2" x 11" piece of paper. Score at 3", 3 10/16", 7", 7 10/16"
Pals Paper Arts brought us a color challenge this week as well. I am so loving these colors: Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait. They are so fun. They remind me of summer time.

This week's Color Throwdown colors are: Perfect Plum, Early Espresso and Vanilla. I have to say I love the way these colors came together. I have to say this is probably one of the first cards in a long time that I have not used designer series paper.
I just found a new challenge blog that gives away weekly prizes, Papercraft Star. This week's challenge for the Papercraft Star is a sketch challenge. I just love the simplicity of this card and how it came together.
Well I started out working on the Taylored Expressions sketch challenge this week to make a birthday card for my niece. Well I ended up using so much bling, it hurt me to think the card would just end up in a pile of garbage at the end of the party. So I decided to make it a wall hanging for niece's room. So three projects, same colors and ingredients to make three unique projects! I can't believe how big she is! Time is flying by! 
Here is another card I made for my niece's birthday. I always need to make two one for me and another for my parents. Just goes to show you how versitile the same stickers and designer series paper are with another sketch! Here is Tinkerbell again with the I heart to stamp sketch.
