Inkredible Color Challenge


This week's color challenge is Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Always Artichoke and Crumb Cake. I have to say I love the way the last two Inkredible color challenges have come out.

Special touch on this card: I cut the flower out of the designer series paper. Next, I layered it on a scallop circle and a circle. I layered the designer series paper on a piece of paper and the die cut with the Top Note.

Taylored Expressions #129

Special touch on this card: To keep the felt flurries layered on top of one another, I put a jumbo brad on first one. Then put a pop-up glue dot and layered the second snowflake. Lastly, I added a rhinestone.

Stampin' Royalty Wicked Challenge


This week's Stampin' Royalty challenge is to make anything but a card. So here's my candy holder made with paper towel roll. Yes, I took a empty paper towl roll and put some designer series paper around it. On the bottom I glued a scallop circle punch. I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to keep it together. The top I cut a strip of wide grosgrain ribbon and attached it to the sides with black brads. I have to say my favorite new Sizzex die is the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die. It has four beautiful trims you can just die cut!!!

Color Throwdown

Here's back to back color challenge. This time it is the Color Throwdown colors. This week's color challenge is: Melon Mambo, Pacific Point and River Rock. So I wasn't quite sure how those colors were going to come together. I was just happy my new A Cute Christmas just came in and I was able to play with it and make this adorable snowman card.

Inkredible Color Challenge

So here is this week's Inkredible Color Challenge. The colors are: Sage Shadow, Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake and Really Rust. So I substituted Sage Shadow for Baja Breeze and Really Rust for Cajun Craze. I really liked the simplicity of the 4 colors together. So I just popped up each of the layers with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Color Throwdown

This week's Color Throwdown color challenge is Pink Pirouette, Basic Gray and Rich Razzleberry. As soon as I saw them, I was thinking something with snowflakes, well I ended up with a snowman. Stampin' Royalty Stitching Challenge


This week's Stampin' Royalty challenge is a Stitching. If anyone who knows me sewing is just not my thing. I keep saying I am going to have my mom teach me how to use the sewing machine, but it hasn't happened. Although I can sew a button on and do some light stitching, so that is what I did on this week's challenge. I started on out by pulling out my mat pack and making holes for my stitching. It was every other hole on the mat pack. I have to say I made mom proud. The other special touch was after color in the image with my blender pens and ink, I took my marker and drew in the lines again. After my water color they were a little hard to see.

Very exciting! I was chosen as this week's Top Pick at the Stampin' Royalty site. The challenge was a photo inspiration of pennants, so I made my Boo Wall Hanging! I made my pennants with cutting out triangles and then layering them on top of pinking hearts punched out borders. How great is this. I learned this trick from our demonstrator exclusive magazine, Stampin' Success.

Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge

This week's Pals Paper Arts challenge is a color challenge. The colors are Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron and Old Olive. I have to say I love the way the colors came out. The special touch on this card is applying two way glue on the flower petals and then sprinkling Dazzling Diamonds.

Boo Wall Hanging

This week's Stampin' Royalty challenge is a photo inspiration right out of the 2010-11 Idea Book and Catalog. On page 175, you will see these gorgeous pennants made from our Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks. How great is it that you can get coordinating Patterns Designer Series Paper in every color!!!! The paper stacks are packaged by color family. You get 40 sheets of 2 double-sided designs for only $19.95

So I drew my inspiration from the photo from the pennants. I made my pennants with cutting out triangles and then layering them on top of pinking hearts punched out borders. How great is this. I learned this trick from our demonstrator exclusive magazine, Stampin' Success.

Inkredible Color Challenge


This week's color challenge is Ballet Blue, Cameo Coral and Garden Green. Since Ballet Blue and Cameo Coral are retired, I decided to substitute those colors with Pacific Point and Regal Rose. I have to say I love the way this color challenge came out. I am also happy the last time my friend Colleen came over she showed me how to make these adorable flowers. It was super easy!
