I am so excited. Another card of mine made Nancy's weekly iPick! You may remember this one as my winning project for Shelli's All Things New Creative Challenge Winner.

Color Throwdown



So I found a new color challenge site, Color Throwdown. Like I need another challenge site to visit, but I have to say they are the best thing if you are in a slump or you need a jolt to your creativity. A third of the work is done, so know I just have to come up with the sketch and what the design is. The colors are: Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz. They were screaming something floral to me, but I decided to do something a little different with them. So here is my girly rocker card with the colors.

I heart 2 stamp sketch and Inkredible colors


At first I wasn't sure about this week's colors for the Inkredible challenge, but they started to grow on me. When Colleen originally came up with the colors this was all before the color renovation. So the colors were Cameo Coral, Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise and Real. So I subsituted the Cameo Coral and Summer Sun for Regal Rose and Daffodil Delight. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by the colors. I also have to say I love the I heart to stamp sketch this week.

This week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge is a photo inspiration. I was inspired by the red shoe and the daisy brooch. No surprise there. I love daisies and I just love the red and white combo. So here is my card. To make the card a little dressy, I sprayed on some shimmery smooch mist which is hard to tell in the photo.

Stampin' Royalty Guest Designer

Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge


Here is this week's Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge. The colors are: Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. Great summer color combo! I decided to pull my surfer guy and the tropical flowers out for this color challenge. Only a few more days to get the Tropical Party stamp set. I have to say it is one of my favorite stamp sets of all time. It helps that I am a beach bum at heart. GARTH in Central Park


I have to say one of the most amazing concerts I ever attended was Garth Brooks in Central Park. 750,000 people in Central Park all singing Unanswered Prayers is something I will never forget!!!! Every concert after that just can't compare. I captured the day with my pictures and news article from the Hearld News. It is rated to be the #4 concert with the highest attendence. Happy Birthday to Me!


Here is the most amazing birthday gift my friend Colleen made me! She is so incredibly talented and generous. I got this beautiful homemade birthday cake filled with birthday treats! How she finds the time to make something so beautiful like this with two little boys running around, I'll never know! I have to say we meet like 6 years ago when I first started stamping at a scrapbooking crop. Our former upline recruited her to be part of our downline. Since then, the two of us have become fast friends. Who knew a love of stamps would turn into such a beautiful friendship.

August Open Workshop



It's back to school time in less than a month which means time to start thinking about school supplies. Come to this month's open workshop where we will be making 4 cute owl projects. Give them as a gift for a little one going back to school or keep them for yourself.
